The Island Swim Pond
Pond Pimps Ltd has been commissioned to deliver this complete new-build pond and landscape transformation from initial groundworks through to final commissioning.
The project will transform the existing open garden setting into an immersive water-led outdoor space incorporating a substantial pond, central island seating, integrated decking, natural stone detailing, planting and architectural lighting.

Rather than treating the pond, decking, seating and surrounding landscape as separate installations, Pond Pimps Ltd will deliver them as one coordinated project. This ensures that the levels, structure, water system, access, materials, lighting and planting work together from the outset.
The Client Brief
The objective is to transform the existing garden and water area into a distinctive outdoor destination that can be enjoyed during the day and into the evening.
The design centres on water, with an island-style sunken seating area creating a focal point within the pond. Decking, connecting walkways, natural stone, planting and carefully positioned lighting will integrate the new feature with the surrounding country landscape.
